The Action is made up of four Working Groups (WG), working on interrelated facets of how the rise of new nationalisms and related geopolitical pressures influence the openness of European higher education and research, including implications for European integration. Each working group is led by two members of the Network. 

The WGs will be working with establishing a research genealogy, a comparative framework, an empirical mapping and outreach activities.
