Shwetha is an applied microeconomist with interests in education, labor, and industrial organization. She researches how students make schooling decisions. She uses experimental, quasi-experimental, and structural methods to study how different choice environments impact these decisions, and the implications for segregation and inequality.
Shwetha is co-teaching two undergraduate courses: Econometrics of Policy Evaluation and Industrial Organization & Strategy.
