Ever since I entered a labaortory for the first time in the 90s, I have been impressed by the many exciting analysis that are carried out in a laboratory and I have always had great respect for safety in a lab.
Important parameters such as organization/planning of an experiment help to ensure safetyand enable you to work with very hazardous chemicals without being exposed. It is exactly this message that I am passionate about passing on through my job as adviser/teacher.
My teaching philosophy is based on dialogue rather than monologue.
I teach in dangerous goods by road (ADR 1.3) for packers of chemical and clinical waste, for packers and drivers who transport dangerous goods in connection with e.g. field work, moving chemicals.
Dangerous goods by air (IATA) for packers of biological sampels, dru ice, refrigerated nitrogen and excepted quantities.
Chemical safety, chemical risk assesement and classification/labelling of chemicals.
