I am an experienced researcher and research leader in the fields of digital technologies, system engineering and digital business development. My carrier has taken me through a journey of technology research on Internet of Things protocols and telecommunication systems, Internet and web application/platform development with focus on Internet of Things devices, open data, cybersecurity, the software supply chain, data handling and analytics. My research was mainly centred in the context of Smart Cities and more recently Manufacturing Industries and Technical Service Industries. My research has predominantly been applied, either directly with relevant industry and municipalities or indirectly through stakeholders and clusters.
I have obtained two Masters degrees from the University of Bristol, first in Physics with Astrophysics followed by Telecommunications and Signal Processing. And I graduated with a PhD from the University of Surrey in 2009 in Electrical and Electornic Engineering.
