I hold a MSc in IT on multimedia from Aarhus University and a doctorate (EdD) in educational technology and Learning Design as well as a PG Cert in Online and Distance Education from The Open University. I have over 20 years of experience in the field as a consultant, leader, lecturer, and researcher, and I am also an editor and co-founder of the Danish academic journal Learning and Media.
My research centers around online professional development, Learning Design, technology-enhanced learning, and educational development involving educational technology.
I teach, superviser, and advise assistant professors, postdocs, associate professors, and professors regarding the development of their teaching, including the use of educational technology in the context of Introduction to Teaching and Learning (InTeL), the University Pedagogical Programme, and various workshops.
I am the project manager of the Nordplus network and the DLiNC project (2013–2025), editor of the journal Learning and Media (LOM), and participate in a number of national and international networks within university pedagogy (E.g., Digital Pedagogy and DUEL).
I work with educational and professional development, including as an educator and supervisor for the University Pedagogical Programme (UPP), Introduction to Teaching and Learning (InTeL), and providing individual guidance to educators. Additionally, I am involved in several development projects, including Learning Design as a teaching development methodology and the involvement of students in the process, as well as the evaluation of the effectiveness of UPP. Finally, I conduct research in educational technology and Learning Design and am the project manager of a Nordplus project, "DLiNC".
