My research focuses on biodiversity and ecology, e.g., interactions between species, individuals, and their environment. I am primarily working with DNA-based detections and uses such to answer questions related to the main research areas. I am currently investigating effects of large herbivores in temperate ecosystems, using diet analysis and environmental DNA from dung samples to evaluate effects on plant communities and dung-associated biodiversity. In addition, I have investigated how environmental DNA can be used to describe plant-bird interactions.
