I research encounters between citizens and the welfare state from a political psychology angle. I am particularly interested in how encounters between citizens and the state is influenced by the attitudes of the actors, and when citizens or frontline workers experience discrimination in such encounters. My research deals with both citizens' and frontline workers' perspectives on these issues.
