Welcome to my research page at Aarhus University.
I am an assistant professor at the Department of Political Science, researching political parties, their competition and polarization, their communication with the public, and, importantly, their influence on a country's legislation.
I have a particular interest in studying party pledges: why parties make election promises, the opportunities and limitations of these promises for government formation afterward, and how voters use these promises.
I currently teach undergraduate courses in General Political Science and Public Policy and also supervise theses.
