Giuseppe Abbiati has a PhD in Structural Engineering and a deep passion for Cyber-Physical System Engineering. Therefore, his work develops at the interface between these two domains. Giuseppe Abbiati’s current projects aim at i) developing new testing concepts for wind turbine components based on hybrid testing and optimal design of experiments ii) framing requirements, technology stack and algorithms for digital twins of structures and infrastructures. These research projects involve students and collaborators from various departments of the university.
