Søren Albeck Nielsen is a Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics and Business Economics and a research fellow at TrygFonden's Centre for Child Research. He cquired his PhD from Aarhus University in 2022.
Sørens academic interests lie within education, family, and labor economics. His is currently investigating how screening for dyslexics affects academic performance and well-being; how the threat of ending the educational paths affects human capital investments; and how to support children who grow up in families plagued by substance use problems.
