My research interests are prevention in nursing and public health science, qualitative methods and systematic review, constituting the basis for my contribution to the department’s research and research-based education. It motivates me to contribute with new knowledge and initiatives that support the needs of the people in question; whether it is the young adult with a mental disorder, the older citizen, a care professional, or a manager in the healthcare sector.
It is important to me to support research-based education and quality development, as well as to contribute to the education of competent graduates for the future job market. At the Faculty of Health, I contribute by teaching in the first semester of the Bachelor's program in Public Health Science, supervising theses in at the Master's degree programs in Public Health Science and Nursing, as well as teaching in the Health Science Master's program, the Master in Clinical Nursing, and the Master's degree program in Nursing.
