Patient-centred care refers to individualized, respectful, and empowering health care that comprises patients' preferences, needs, and overall situation.
My research in patient-centred care is undertaken within and across diagnoses, at various stages of the patient pathway, and in close cooperation with patients and relatives.
I teach in Qualitative Methodology at the Master's part of Medicine and supervise both clinicians and Ph.D. -, MSc-, and bachelor students.
I am also assessor at Midterm Evaluations and Ph.D. defences, as well as examiner on MSc theses.
I work as senior researcher at Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Aarhus University Hospital.
I also hold a part-time professorship in nursing at the Department of Health and Nature, University of Greenland.
