Member of King Frederik Center for Public Leadership (part of the center management team).
My research is about public leadership in a broad sense. How leadership for public value for society and for individual unfolds, and what challenges and consequences such leadership has.
My specific areas of focus are (1) leadership of difficult social challenges such as the climate crisis, (2) distributed and paradox leadership as well as (3) leadership development and training
Teaching is a central part of my professional work. It is also an activity that largely overlaps with my research into public leadership. Leading and teaching are in many ways the same.
I generally teach public leadership and governance on the political science program. On the flexible master program in public management (FMOL), I currently teach leadership development, leadership of leaders and leadership conversations.
