As a medical doctor specializing in psychiatry, my research focuses on bridging psychiatric diagnosis and treatment with data science. I study the nature and causes of mental disorders, with ongoing research in psychiatric genetics and psychopharmacology. My current focus is on applying data-driven computational models, including classical machine learning and deep learning.
My ongoing projects focus on: 1) Predicting neurodevelopmental disorders and testing hypotheses about brain differences in these disorders.2) Predicting responses to medications used to treat psychiatric disorders. 3) Studying genetic and environmental interactions contributing to suicidal behavior.
