Ata is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics at Aarhus University. He holds a PhD in Economics and Business Economics from Aarhus University (2019).
Ata’s research interests fall within the Operations and Supply Chain Management domain. He employs mathematical programming and simulation techniques to deal primarily with service system design problems characterized by congestion.
Ata has been teaching various courses including Operations Management, Business Process Modelling and Simulation, and Performance Management. He also supervises students at Bachelor’s and Master’s level on topics related to operations and supply chain management.
